Hoarding shows are very popular on television. This can have both positive and negative effects on the viewer. If people are watching these programs and taking notes about the psychological aspect and mental disorders of these hoarders, they are better able to detect and seek help of their loved ones or friends. However, if folks are watching it for pure entertainment, they’re missing the entire point.
