Deep Cleaning vs Regular Cleaning for your house

Deep Cleaning

At Clutter Trucker, we offer a complete range of house cleaning services for our residential customers. That’s a long way of saying that we do it all. In our many years of experience, we have seen everything in terms of residential cleaning needs, from recurring light jobs to deep cleaning, extreme work on homes that were in dire need of help. There’s one question we hear quite often, and it has to do with the difference between deep cleaning vs regular cleaning.

When people realize that it’s time for a house cleaning job, they’re often perplexed about whether to have a professional service perform standard work or deep cleaning. Unfortunately, many homeowners are at a disadvantage because they often don’t know the difference between deep cleaning vs regular cleaning. It’s important to know the distinction. That way, when you feel like it’s time to have an expert crew clean your home, you’ll know the difference and understand what you get when you ask for a particular kind of help with your house cleaning.

So, if you’ve ever wondered about what a “deep cleaning” entails and what a “regular” house cleaning is, here are some pointers to give you a general idea.

What is Involved in a Deep Cleaning and Who Needs It?

Understanding the key points of difference about deep cleaning vs regular cleaning is pretty straightforward. The central point is that homes that need deep-clean work have usually been neglected for quite some time. The reasons vary and really aren’t that important, but whenever a house sits for weeks, months, sometimes years without any attention to its cleanliness, it needs very special attention.

A typical household in need of this kind of service often has piles of dirty dishes in the kitchen, broken toilets that are backed up or haven’t been touched in months, layers of dust caked on floors, walls, furniture, and window sills. In many cases, odor is a problem as well, and there’s a good chance that the entire area is completely unsanitary.

In fact, it’s not uncommon for long-neglected homes to become health hazards, posing real physical danger to anyone who lives in them or near them. If local authorities have been called to inspect abandoned houses, they often board them up to prevent anyone from wandering in. Measures like those are taken to protect people from becoming ill if they enter.

But apart from abandoned homes, even lived-in residences can be in need of a deep clean under certain conditions. When occupants are too ill or infirm to do any cleaning, they are simply victims of very unfortunate circumstances. We’ve seen many cases where elderly or disable folks were embarrassed to call a cleaning service because they felt ashamed for anyone to see their homes. This sad state of affairs is one Clutter Trucker knows well and works hard to prevent and resolve.

Deep Cleaning Professional Team

That’s why we tell everyone that there’s really nothing to be ashamed of. Professionals like us have seen the worst of the worst, from condemned, dilapidated, long-neglected homes to those that local health departments have listed as “off limits to the public.” We’ve not only seen places like that, but we’ve cleaned them as well. Nothing is new or shocking to us because we’ve been in this business for a very long time.

We do deep, extreme cleaning in situations that call for it, never making a judgment about the owners or residents. We do our job with a compassion and understanding that comes from long years of experience. So, if you are facing a situation that calls for deep, extreme cleaning, feel free to contact us and we’ll discuss your options. There’s never a good reason to remain in unsanitary, dangerous conditions. And remember, the Clutter Trucker team is happy to help because it’s our job, and we’re proud of the work we do to help folks who face special challenges.

What is Regular Cleaning and Who Needs It?

Deep Cleaning for the elderly

Most homeowners are much more familiar with regular cleaning than with more extreme versions of the service. That’s usually because they have done some house-cleaning on their own and generally know what’s involved.

Typical, regular home cleaning is a comprehensive service that does dusting, vacuuming, wiping down of surfaces, mopping, window cleaning, and assorted other kinds of tasks to make a home look its best. Some of our recurring customers, for example, have us come in and do standard cleaning once per week, every two weeks, or once per month. Working adults who live alone and spend a lot of time at the office typically don’t have time to clean, so they hire us to come in and do the job on a regular basis.

We offer a list of standard services that our customers can choose from, including time-honored chores like vacuuming, mopping of all tile and linoleum floors, special treatment for wood floors, wiping down and dusting of light fixtures and furniture, sink cleanup, attending to dirty dishes, and more. Of course, each home is different and our customers all have their own particular preferences. Whatever they indicate on the list, we take care of it.

For instance, a few of our long-term clients simply want a weekly vacuuming and floor mopping, and perhaps light dusting. Others are more focused on bathrooms, showers, and tubs. We always work with people to see what they prefer for regular, standard cleaning jobs. Often, they ask for regular service every other week and a heavier cleaning once or twice per year.

We Want to be Your House Cleaners
